An absolutely decadent treat!  Don't let the name decieve you, maple cream is pure maple syrup, no additives.  It is a simple process of heating the syrup to 235 degree F (15 degrees above the temperature of syrup), cooling it in an ice bath until it reaches 100 degrees F and then hand stirring it for approximately 30 minutes.  It magically turns into a lovely light brown maple spread.  It is great for toast, bagels, scones, french toast and of course spoons.

  • Please keep your maple cream in the refrigerator.  It will be good for at least 3 months.
